Midas orchid is emerging as the leading floriculturist in India. Initiated by Mr. Sanjiv Jhunjhunwala in 2009, the farm is located off Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. It boasts a large packing and grading unit complete with its own cold storage. The 30 acre greenhouse which houses a variety of orchids is a sight to behold.

We cultivate many different types of orchids using the novel technique of hydroponics. Many of the most common orchids are a mix of pink, purple and white, but they also come in zesty yellows, rich maroons, pastel peaches, icy blues and earthy greens. Others are adorned with intricate patterns or a few subtle freckles. Midas orchids stretch for as far as the eye can see. As one of India’s largest orchid farms, it produces several orchid varieties such as Dendrobium and Cattleya for domestic markets.
